2025年10月24日(金)にワシントンD.C. 日本大使館にて「7th White Collar Crime Workshop 2025」を開催いたします（オンライン同時配信）。

 このワークショップは、米国、英国、日本、およびその他の国における企業犯罪、コーポレートガバナンスやコンプライアンスに関する諸問題について、現役の当局担当者、実務家と研究者とが垣根を越えて議論するグローバルな学びのプラットフォームです。 

 本年は、企業犯罪の執行状況に関連する世界的動向、企業内弁護士の視点からみたコンプライアンス・プログラム等の課題、認知科学と企業犯罪、いわゆるコンプライアンス・ディフェンス（実効的なコンプライアンス・プログラムの整備を法人責任における抗弁とする設計）の是非、人権・ESGのリスク管理、ガバナンスにおけるテクノロジーの活用といったトピックを取り上げます。  

7th White Collar Crime Workshop 2025 will be held on Friday 24 October 2025 at the Embassy of Japan, Washington D.C.

This workshop serves as a global learning platform where government officials, practitioners, and researchers engage in cross-border discussions on corporate crime, corporate governance, and compliance issues in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries.

This year we will cover various topics such as global trends in corporate crime enforcement, challenges in compliance programs from the perspective of in-house counsel, cognitive science and corporate crime, the merits of compliance defense (designing effective compliance programs as a corporate liability defense), human rights and ESG risk management, and the use of technology in governance.
